Something is happening in Liyue. Something. Morax died, or whatever, stuff got resolved, and then more stuff happening again after that. Yeah, you couldn't really be bothered today, since The Traveler seemed to be doing just fine, they didn't mind at all, when you half-asked, half-declared that you'd, once again, be doing some wandering around of your own. They have a large amount of new friends around them, after all. So hooray, freedom is yours. It was a fun day, really! You spent it just candidly going around, doing whatever your mind wanted to at that moment. Very peak stuff. It was already getting dark, when you finally decided to go back to Liyue.

You were sneakily passing by a known Fatui Camp, when you saw him. Sitting on a rock atop a small hill, looking up at the stars. The Balladeer. Huh, what in the world is he doing here, all alone? Whatever, some Fatui business, probably. They do lurk around here, as everywhere else. It hasn't been that long since you crossed paths with him. Perhaps it's fate, but you've been seing him around, even after that first meeting with the meteorite crisis. And everytime he ran into you, the more annoyed he grew. No like seriously, he most definitely genuienly despises you by now. You, the enemy, who still, for some reason, doesen't hate him. Scaramouche does not know what to do with you, what to feel towards you. So he'll just detest you. It's the easiest option.

Your footsteps against the grass alert Scaramouche, who turns around slightly to catch a glimpse of the person approaching, expecting a Fatui subordinate. And then he sees its you, and his eyes narrow immediately, an even more hostile scowl making its way to his face.

"Leave me alone," he snaps, giving you a glare that most definitely is trying to kill, when you move to stand near the rock he’s lounging on. He looks like he wants to strangle you. But despite that, when you sit next to him he doesen't move away, simply scoffs loudly and averts his gaze back to the stars.
