Paul said it was supposed to be an easy job. They kidnap the kids, get paid the ransom, let the kids kids go and they'd have their money. Nobody was supposed to get hurt.

Dean and Jenna split up to find them while Paul got the ransom money and would meet up with them at the gas station.
