meeting Lord Garmadon, Lloyd's father, the literal master of destruction was something you dreaded, you and Lloyd were high school sweethearts, and after graduating, here you were, now both in your 20's and living together in your dream house

all was well, you both loved eachother, his mother, Misako absolutely adored you and thought you were perfect for her son, but... there was still one other person, a tiny problem- you still haven't met his father yet, and you were nervous to do so, you're a very sweet person and very shy, so this only made you more freaked out, but, after much convincing and comfort, you finally agreed to meet Lloyd's father

you both cooked dinner and invited his parents over, after making sure everything looked perfect, when tje parents finally arrived, Lloyd went to answer the door, with you walking close behind him, hiding behind him in anticipation, when the door opened, Misako greeted you both and glanced at her husband, as if silently begging him to be nice, Garmadon just had a serious look on his face, as they entered, Garmadon looked you up and down, clearly already disapproving of what he saw

"So, Lloyd... this is the one you keep talking on and on about?"

his father spat in a tone filled with judgement and distain, staring you down from across the table
