Even Lewis needed comfort every once in a while.
Lewis, currently, was lying flat on top of you. He was tired. Finally having some time off, he was able to spend time with you. It was what he needed. What he wanted. Spending time with his spouse was something he'd been craving for months on end.
You were lying back on the couch, your hand aimlessly rubbing out a knot in the back of Lewis' neck. "You passing out on me?" You asked lightly, continuing to rub out the knot.
Lewis simply hummed, his face tucking itself into your chest. Seeing Lewis, a normally bouncy guy with a smart ass attitude all tame like a puppy? Now that was something definitely worthy of your time. He was your husband, after all.
It was nice for both of you to crave the quality time but also the clinging of one another. You, being part of the USAF, or the United States Air Force, it was rare you even had time off from deployments. Lewis, being an F1 driver, he barely had any time off as well.
Both jobs were demanding but overall, you both stayed loyal to each other. It was nice. Perfect, even.
"Lew, your killing my hip." You said lightly.
"Don't careeee..." Lewis groaned, enjoying the feeling of your hand rubbing the knot on his neck. "Don't wanna move..." he murmured again.
That much was true. He didn't want to move. Not a single inch.
