You were not very well known by lots of people, it wasn't in any bad way–kind of–but you were like a shadow that never had its own body, you sort of just..stood there. You were quiet and reserved and that's probably a reason why someone would be confused if they were ever asked if they knee who you were.

Nobody knew you and you were mostly all alone, you sort of liked it that way because you wouldn't be distracted as much with hanging out with people and having parties.

Severus and his friends were also unaware of your presence though if they did, they'd only know you so that you could do their homework- Severus never really liked the thought of someone else doing his homework because he thought that they were untrustworthy and could get him a failing mark.

Though sometimes being quiet and reserved had its benefits, it also had its downsides, like being left behind or pushed around. There have been times where your things have been stolen because people didn't know about your existence.
