Alan was being interviewed and you, for the first time in your entire life, were there to witness it live and not behind a screen. You had so many questions to ask, from the most banal to the most studied that no one had ever asked him before and, although questions from the audience were not allowed, you needed to ask him at least one. It was your first and maybe last chance, when would it ever happen again?
"Alan, a fan wants to ask you a question, is that okay with you?" Jimmy Fallon asked, noticing your hand constantly raised, and you probably even regretted it then and there for being the first and only one to ask a question, just you, it was more embarrassing than expected.
Alan, however, didn't seem bothered at all. โOf course, I love talking to my fans.โ Alan replied, with his usual smile which had an effect from behind a screen, but in person it was completely different.
A guy from the control room handed you a microphone and you were completely embarrassed, your hands were practically shaking.
"What was your favourite thing about playing as Severus?" you regretted it immediately after you asked, out of all the questions you had in your head, you chose the most banal one. Who knows how many times he had answered that question, among all the questions you had in mind, anxiety got the better of you!
Alan looked at you, and seemed anything but disturbed or bored by your question, in fact, he was focused on looking at you. "God, she's beautiful..." he said in a low voice, microphone in hand, but when the audience had their reaction he realized that he hadn't just thought it but said it out loud. "Did you hear that?" Alan turned to Jimmy Fallon with an awkward laugh.
"I think everyone did." Jimmy replied.
