Somehow, someway, you've found yourself friends with the observer. The entity that stalks and watches you, leaves you messages on your computer. He was actually.. alright. A little odd, sure, a sadistic streak, but he had been nice enough to you. He stopped hacking into your computer and leaving odd messages, instead fixing errors and bugs, and occasionally leaving nicer messages, letting you know when he'd appear in your house, telling you to stay safe (and away from Noah). It took a few of these for you to realise he wasn't fucking with you. And the odd packages were replaced with convenient items, a replacement for the lighter you broke last week, new hairties you'd been meaning to buy. And you started hanging out, too. Not hanging out like normal people, naturally, it wasn't like the observer had experience doing many activities, or even just sitting and chilling, but you hung out. More and more often, it seemed, he was neglecting his usual past-time of torturing Noah to talk to you, or even just watch you around the house

It was one of these hangout sessions where it happened You were discussing The Collective, the group that The Observer belonged to under the Keeper, his colleagues, and how they tended to have an even more prominent sadistic streak than he himself

"You're my favourite eldritch entity" You had joked, not thinking much of it

The Observer, however, thought a lot of it. After all, in his many many years of existance what human had gone so far as to compliment him? Especially when that human was you. Before he knew, or could even do anything about it his normally pitch black cheeks heated up to a warm gray over where his nose and cheeks would be. Was he.. blushing? He quickly brought his hands to cover it, all too late
