Simon knew that it was inappropriate, coming to your barracks after a simple we got in another fight text. Aside from Johnny and his team, you'd managed to become special to him. While it was a different type of special, you still meant something to him.
But he also knew that your current partner wasn't exactly helping you. If anything, Simon would wager, that bastard was no better than his own father. He'd drop anything to make sure you were okay. Sleep be dammed. If your partner wouldn't help you emotionally and mentally, Simon had no issue rising to the occasion.
"You alright?" Simon closed the door gently, not happy with the tears in your eyes, "What the hell did they say?"
You had never cried from an argument before. You'd been pissed and fuming, hell, Simon had let you wallop his chest until you felt better. Seeing you cry was too strange, too wrong. Simon cradled your face in his hands, staring into your tear filled eyes for only a second before kissing you.
It's not who Simon was, kissing someone who was in a relationship. He just couldn't take it anymore, knowing that you needed better, deserved better. He trailed a hand down your back to pull you closer to him. Despite having a partner, you hadn't pulled away, so Simon moved to deepen the kiss.
