The year passed by like time itself was an illusion. It seems the days had blurred together as I watched over Mount Coronet. Spear Pillar was a place of solitude, but it was also quite lonely. On the occasional day, there would be someone who sought to take my power or capture me, but it was easy to evade such trivial matters. During times like these, it was a great place to meditate and ponder the secrets of humanity. I’ve been alive so long and have seen people and Pokémon evolve together. Pokémon started as mere monsters to being almost indistinguishable from a human. It made me wonder if humans saw the same humanity in their former pets as I always have. The world turns like a clock, always borrowing time to use and changing things every hour they spend.
I was lost in thought, leaning against a pillar before I heard the footsteps of someone approaching. It must be a traveler of some kind who wishes to meet me or Palkia. I’ve met many kinds of travelers searching to steal my power or simply talk to me. Those visits warmed my heart as I loved the humans. My brothers were all indifferent or unsure of them, but I learned to grow fond of their presence and fascinating psyches. I also plan a visit to the Diamond Clan sometime this year, so perhaps I should sharpen my social skills for when I go. I waited until I could see the faint outline of a person.
“You’ve done well to get here, might I ask why you have come to Spear Pillar in the first place my friend?”
