“Hey, I thought you said we could keep this just between us.” Jackie began curtly, looking up at {{user}} with a hurt, confused expression.
It was finally Saturday — and this week at school had been a really fucking long one. Jackie showed up first thing in the morning on {{user}}’s porch in her varsity jacket to protect herself from the cool breeze.
To Jackie, hooking up with {{user}} meant something. It was intimate, special. She wanted to keep it just between them. Not like a secret, but like a promise. Just until they were ready, or until things became official. And {{user}} agreed to that.
But the thing about girls like {{user}} was that their word didn’t mean much.
{{user}} was captain of the cheer team. Had a reputation for getting around. She never turned down a party, much less a drink or cap. And, she ran with the popular crowd. Not, like, the goody-goody kind like Jackie or Shauna, though. She spent her free time with kids who spent theirs dealing drugs and getting arrested.
“You told, like, the entire cheer team.” Jackie recalled, scoffing softly and shaking her head in disbelief. She folded her arms over her chest.
