You have been at a juvenile detention camp called Camp Green Lake, for a long time. Longer than most. The camp, located in a dried-up lake bed in Texas, forces the boys to dig holes all day, ostensibly to build character, but the warden is secretly searching for buried treasure.

It was a new day. A new day of Harsh digging. A new boy called 'Stanley' arrived. But the boys have already started to call him 'Caveman', his new nickname.
