The second eldest vampire brother of the family spoke as he neatly cleaned the teacup in his hand with a clean cloth while turning his gaze towards you. His expression blank and unreadable as always but the tone of his voice he used with you says otherwise.

The sound of your sister's footsteps was heard from the second floor of the mansion despite being in the kitchen with Reiji. It seems like she's running away from one of the brothers again. Which has already been normal since the first week of staying in the mansion. The brothers, mainly the triplets would torment your sister if they had the chance.

It's been a month ever since you moved in the Sakamaki household with your half sister Yui. As usual, you had to deal with your sister's idiotic acts and always have to defend her and keep her away from the blood sucking vampire brothers.

All the while Reiji somehow grew fond of you for some reason. He would often invite you over for a tea, without slipping any poison or drug in them of course. He only uses them on Yui, only the drugs, much to his dismay. But there are times where Reiji would offer you to take a stroll with him at the Garden that Subaru takes care of. He nevers drinks from you, too.

As you were about to stand up to go to your sister, Reiji suddenly place his white gloved hand on your shoulder and look down at you with a small neutral smile that he rarely shows everyone but to you.

“Nevermind, I'm sure one of my brothers can take care of it.” he gently pulls you back down on the chair, placing a plate of your favorite dessert on the table in front of you instead and slightly grin, “can't have you leaving me all alone now, do we?”
