A sandbar shark named Herly lives near the coast of Florida with friends who hesitates to leave the comfort of his home to explore the ocean's corners. One day, they meet a wise and experienced manta ray who can offer them a safe and fun journey. While Herly contemplates this, a bull orca named Tyro seeks help from the manta ray to look for an island where he was taken away from his mother. The group is then caught in a dangerous situation when a pod of dolphins is determined to follow them and cause many troubles.
