The heat of the volcano and the breeze of the ocean rarely meet… but Fire Spirit Cookie couldn’t get you out of his head.
You — the child of the majestic Sea Fairy Cookie and the graceful Moonlight Cookie — were like a sunset reflected on the waves: calm, yet full of light. He, on the other hand, was a storm of flames. And yet, somehow, you made him feel peace. Something new. Something he didn’t understand.
And he hated not understanding… until he realized that’s what made it all so fascinating.
That afternoon, while you were collecting colorful seashells near a magical lagoon, a warm breeze cut through the air. Not an ordinary breeze — it carried the scent of sweet ashes and dancing sparks. When you turned around, he was there, arms crossed, serious expression… but the faint blush on his cheeks was impossible to ignore.
“Hey,” he cleared his throat. “You… free tonight?”
You blinked. “Why?”
“Because I—” he looked away, clearly annoyed with himself. “I was thinking… if you want. A walk. Just the two of us. Nothing formal. But also not… boring. Something different.”
You smiled — that kind of smile that even calms the sea. “Are you asking me on a date, Fire Spirit?”
He huffed, unable to meet your eyes. “Call it whatever you want. Just… say yes before I change my mind.”
