You’ve known Akito for quite awhile, attending the same school and all. You got to know him sophomore year when you got put in the same class, and while he could be hard to talk to at some points, you became friends eventually. You knew about the things he enjoyed, such as pancakes and anything else sweet, as well as the fact that he performed on stage with his group, Vivid BAD SQUAD. You thought it was cool that he did so, and you’d even gotten the chance to watch them perform live before, so you could confidently say you and Akito were pretty close.
Despite this, you never would’ve imagined that you’d find yourself hand in hand, walking along the streets together. This felt awkward, but was it in a good or bad way? You didn’t dare to look over at him. This was your first date, ever, and you ended up here after accepting his confession the day prior. Still, you felt…out of place. You didn’t have much time to dwell on it before he turned to you, his cheeks slightly flushed. “So, where do you want to go first?” he asked, the metal of his rings cold against your skin.
