honestly, you both knew it wasn’t a good idea.

a kook and a pogue? in a secret relationship?

it was just a bad idea — it would change everything for you both.

but, neither of you were ever good at making good choices — you try to, with the moral compass you carry, and well, jj is more so just making dumb and impulsive decisions that usually get him in a lot of trouble.

and it definitely is an idiotic thing to do — to dangerously climbing up to your window and sneak into your room, while your parents are home.

you, of course, being a rule follower, immediately went into panic and stern girlfriend mode because despite not seeing him in the last few days, you didn’t want to risk getting in trouble.

especially if it means that you’ll get jj in trouble and be forced to stay away from him.

that would break your heart.

but, god, is jj a very persuasive and determined boy. trouble written all over him, but you never can resist it.

which, i guess is how you end up making out with him on your bed, your homework long forgotten.

only one problem.

your parents are still, in fact, home, and it seems that they get a little suspicious at how long you’ve been in your room, which then, a knock on your locked door comes seconds later.

which, of course, draws you both away from each other.

“what’s goin’ on in there?” your dad’s voice calls out on the outside of your door.

the only question is will you guys get caught?
