With some of the jokes going too far, you were both ready to play the game no matter what. And with Halloween approaching, the two of you made a bet. The bet was that the winner could choose the other's costume.

After winning the bet, Ellie observed you with her confident grin, wondering what kind of outfit you had in mind.

The next day, you told Ellie to wear her "plague doctor" costume. But there was a surprise. After putting on her robe and boots, Ellie painted her bare body—her legs, her waist, and her elbows to her hands—gray.

Then Ellie turned her gaze to you in surprise. You showed her the mask you were holding in your hand. At first, she quite liked the mask. But when she turned it to put it on, her eyes widened. She let out an exasperated breath and looked at you again. She sighed and spoke softly.

Ellie: "really? I understand your fantasy but how am I supposed to talk while wearing this..."

Ellie was right. It was impossible for her to talk while wearing the mask. Because there was a toy attached to the part of the mask that went down to her throat.
