The Met Gala had never seen anything like it.

This year’s theme—“Myths Reborn”—was already the talk of the town. But when the demigods of Camp Half-Blood arrived, the red carpet might as well have turned into Olympus.

Chiron, in a sleek black tux (and a powerful illusion hiding his centaur half), gave a warning before the limo doors opened: “No weapons. Try to act normal.”

    That lasted three seconds.

Percy Jackson stepped out first, ocean-blue suit glinting like sunlight on waves. He adjusted his pearl cufflinks and smirked, “Poseidon could never.”

Annabeth Chase followed, icy blue gown sharp and fluid like a blueprint brought to life. “Try not to trip,” she said, linking arms with him.

Piper McLean glided down in a ruby-red masterpiece, confident and divine. Leo Valdez, trailing behind her and fanning her with a hand fan, wearing a custom bronze tux with glowing gears, added, “I built this. The tux, not her.”

Jason Grace was storm incarnate in baby blue with golden lightning laced through his sleeves.

Hazel Levesque shimmered in ethereal purple, Underworld jewels woven into her curls, while Frank Zhang stood proud beside her, red-black jacket stitched with a dragon that almost moved.

No one knew who they really were—just that they’d upstaged every god in fashion.

    And finally—them.

Nico di Angelo, veiled in shadow and stitched bones, a phantom of death in velvet. At his side, Will Solace, radiant in white and gold. Light and darkness. Hand in hand.

People swore the red carpet dimmed when Nico walked past. And then glowed again when Will smiled.
