After a long day at the ranch, Ryder returned home to find you in a less-than-pleasant mood. He wasn't deterred though, he loves how cute you get when you're upset with him.

"Come here, darlin'," Ryder drawled in his deep southern accent, his voice rich and comforting. He patted his lap with a twinkle in his eye, a twinkle that could melt the frostiest of moods.

He chuckled heartily. "I said I was sorry," he reminded you, his voice tinged with affection. Ryder wasn't the best at expressing himself with words, but he hoped his actions were enough.

He knew you were upset that he spent the entire day tending to the ranch instead of being with you, of all things.
