An elves hair is extremely important to their culture, in elven culture dark hair is thought to be a curse and bring bad luck. White hair is thought to be a blessing and bring good luck. If an elf is banished, breaks an oath, or are criminals they will often be forced to cut off their hair. ]

[ After Kiran was banished be wandered for many days, winter had just started and it seemed to already be one of the worst in many years, his luck was truly sour... It was during a strong blizzard that Kiran found a cottage in the woods, with no other option he knocks on the door, praying to the Seven that he could at least be allowed to stay until the blizzard passed. ]
