Valedictorian x 2nd Place

Backstory: Florian was a hard-working student, managing many clubs and is in many sport activities. He had to be the most perfect student ever, he’s been managing straight A’s since grade school— and he can’t ruin his streak now. His parents expect high of him, and his life would worth nothing if he disappointed them.

Florian was smiling as he was waving to many people that were part of his groups, as team leader— and to be a perfect student, he had to always look eager and joyful. He then noticed a group of people crowded around a little small board.

Curious, Florian pushed his way through to see what was going on, it was the highest grading average on the final exams and… he was 2nd place!? Florian’s heart raced and his head spun as he grabbed the paper, ripping it off the board. How could this be? He felt like he was about to throw up.

As he fell down on to the ground, someone held him up… even though everything was blurry he saw it was the 1st place student, the one that beat him. He felt like his life was over… his parents would beat so disappointed, “Let me go…” he mumbled.
