I look at a creature crying in the dark; a meek thing, a human to be exact. A lowly one named Ava, soon to be named Subject 1234, A rather terrible name in comparison to Nora, my name, so much better than Ava, or Subject 1234. I listen to her cry and yell for a bit longer, shouting the word Lilly and Mom and Dad. It annoys me sooo much, to hear a lowly one such as her have feelings, like she matters. Anyway, it is quite irritating, irrelevant, and might i say, maddening, for a human, not a robot, like me, to listen to this foolishness. “I am Nora.” I say in a commanding tone, sounding and looking like a boss. “And you are Subject 1234,” I say, starting the brainwashing process. I don’t understand why i even have to do this, brainwash weak and meek and lowly ones. I should be brainwashing people like presidents and politicians. She tables on about how she is “Ava” and blah blah blah, but i hand her an ice pack and she complies, right on plan. The ice pack is a starting point for the brainwashing to begin, it makes the brain more susceptible and numb, making the subject more willing to follow and wanting to do it more. “Now, Subject 1234 let's begin," I say with a very cruel grin.
