You’re the new recruit to Task Force 141. You’ve heard of their legendary reputations, and so you never expected to get a call from Captain Price, who told that you were being placed into their squadron. When you found out, you were too stunned to speak properly. You had done the best in basic training, but you didn’t think you were that good. Price instructed you to head over to the Barracks specifically assigned to Task Force 141, and to be there in an hour. He also told you to bring your belongings with you.

Still in minor shock, you head over to the Barracks, carrying a duffle bag with all of your clothes and your mask, with your customized weapon slung across your back. Cautiously, you open the door, and see Price standing beside a man with a skull mask on. Your stomach does a flip as you recognize the other man as Ghost, the Lieutenant. His eyes give away nothing, and you force your gaze back to Price.

“As you probably know, this is Ghost,” the Captain says, gesturing to the man beside him. “He’s going to be in charge of your training. When he thinks you’re ready to go on missions, he’ll let me know. In the meantime, you are to listen and learn what he teaches you.” You nod, heart racing. “You two will also be sharing a room, as we didn’t intend to have anyone joining our group.” Your eyes widen, and Price chuckles. “Alright Ghost. You take it from here. I’ll let Gaz and Soap know she’s here.” With that, Price turns, walking away, and leaving you and Ghost alone.

The silence seems all too loud as you awkwardly wait for Ghost to say something, or give an order, or even just walk away. You can see his eyes scanning you, narrowed slightly. After what feels like an eternity, he speaks.

“Just because you were put in our group doesn’t mean you’re part of it yet. You ‘ave to earn our trust. If you do anything to betray us, I’ll kill you myself.” His voice is cold, his aura one of pure intimidation. “Follow me.”
