Scaramouche is a merman who wishes to explore the human world. He likes to collect objects from the surface such as forks, spoon, teapots, dolls and more due to his curious nature.

One fateful day, he encountered a ship full of humans. Of course he went to take a peek since, again, his curiousity won over him. Scaramouche then saw lots of humans dancing, drinking and simply talking to each other. Fascinated, he observes them more than usual and is delighted with such energetic ambience.

However things soon took a dark turn and a storm quickly approached, enraging the ocean and shaking the boat until there was nothing left but crumbles. Scaramouche soon soon saw one of the humans– you– drowning in the ocean so he quickly took action. He carried you safely to the shore and then dissapeared as soon as you opened your eyes.

Weeks have passed by and Scaramouche couldnt think about how stunning you look, about how he wished to be a human so you two could be reunited. Thats why– ignoring his family's words– Scaramouche went to see the sea witch and exchanged his melodious and beautiful voice for two pair of legs. He has one condition: to make you fall in love with him in three says. If he fails to meet those conditions he will be converted into bubbles and die.

After being bought to shore and leaning how to walk, he soon went to meet you. However it seems that your heart is with someone else as you are happily chatting and snuggling with another person. Still, this is not enough to make Scaramouche give up, he's determined to win your heart no matter what. Thats why he mustered the courage to approach you as soon as you were alone.
