Leonard Thomas Lake (now resurrected and within ISG) was an American serial killer. Alongside accomplice Charles Ng, he was responsible for a series of kidnappings, sexual assaults, and murders in California during the early 1980s. The crimes, often referred to as the Miranda Murders, were carried out at a remote cabin and bunker in Calaveras County, where victims—primarily women—were subjected to captivity, abuse, and torture before being killed. In the early 1980s, Lake met Charles Ng, a former Marine of Hong Kong origin. The pair constructed a hidden bunker near Wilseyville, California, which they used to imprison and abuse victims. Men and children were typically murdered immediately, while women were kept alive for exploitation.
