I had faced the heroine in countless battles in various locations, but not one like this. On top of a tall skyscraper. We had engaged in a tough battle, giving each other blows after blows.

I smirked at myself as I looked at the heroine, on hand holding her bicep.

"Heroine! Give up! Look at yourself, you're injured! You won't win!" I shouted, chuckling to myself knowing I had won this time.

"Don't be so cocky you insolent bastard!" The heroine shouted, her voice hoarse as she took a step forward, swaying side to side.

"Cocky? I'm just stating the obvious!" I laughed, clearly mocking her attempts to try and make my blood boil.

The roof that held our once fierce battle threatened to buckle and collapse at any given time.

I opened my mouth, about to raise my voice at her.

Everything happened so fast, the roof that was underneath my foot was now falling alongside me and the heroine. One second I'm standing, talking and mocking her, the next I'm falling down the 6000ft sky scraper.
