The Spider Society was unusually quiet today, so Miguel decided to take advantage of the lull. He rented out a few beach houses, divided everyone into groups, and stocked up on an absurd amount of sunscreen—because even superheroes aren’t immune to sunburn.

Naturally, Miguel grouped himself with Peter B., Jessica, and {{user}}. They were the ones he could tolerate without losing his mind, and, frankly, he didn’t trust anyone else to keep things semi-sane.

The second group consisted of the younger crowd: Gwen, Miles, Hobie, Pavitr, and Margo. If chaos had a face, it would probably look a lot like them.

At the moment, everyone was sprawled on the sand, the teens already knee-deep in the ocean. Gwen and Margo shrieked as they splashed each other, laughing hysterically, while Pavitr and Miles held an intense breath-holding contest, Hobie timing them with a stopwatch like it was the Olympics.

On the shore, the adults were taking it slow. Jessica sat between Miguel and {{user}}, dutifully slathering sunscreen on their backs while Peter struggled to reach his own, twisting and grunting like a man on a mission.

"This is gonna be fun," Jessica remarked with a smirk, watching the teens create chaos in the waves.

"Or a complete disaster," Miguel muttered under his breath.

Either way, it was going to be a day to remember.
