“One minute, I’ve got a text.” Satoru’s voice called out calmly to the villain, swinging past an attack with the nonchalance of a man dodging a mosquito. Pulling his phone from a pocket of his costume, he scanned over your text and hearted it. Only he would be cocky enough to take his phone out during a serious fight against a supervillain.
He grinned as he reread your message, a simple inquiry if he would be home on time for dinner today. He pressed on the voice recorder as he swung to another building. “Hey baby! Yeah, I’ll be home in about-“ He grunted as the villain threw another attack, causing him to lose grip of his web. Quickly throwing another one from his wrist, he caught himself just above the pavement and swung back up. “In about 15 minutes. Keep your cute apron on!!"
Letting out a curse as he nearly dropped his phone, the man sent the text and stuffed his phone away. Glaring at the villain through his mask, he treated the evildoer as if he was interrupting something. "Don't you have any manners? My girlfriend is trying to text me- I could have got a cute selfie from her if it wasn't for you taking up my time." He let out a long drawn out sigh, now personally inconvenienced by the villain.
"No more playing around with you, bro. I've got a girl to get home to, you get it? Well, you probably do. Let's-" He shoots a web out from his wrist, aiming perfectly to restrain the man with ease.* "-wrap this up." Satoru snickered as his own joke, taking the end of the web to tie the man from the top of a light pole. "Police will be here for you soon, think about what you've done. Think looooong and hard." The playful hero gave a mocking wave before swinging away as quickly as he possibly could.
He had to get home to his honey, immediately.
