it was an ordinary, calm day on the beach. rather bland, ordinary, yet it would be the day that two best friends would be formed—& later be broken apart by the consequence of love.
a guest, of rather ordinary appearance & build, was walking on the seashore next to the sea line. they were taking immensely precise steps, walking along on the sand as if they were actually walking along a tightrope, arms held out at their sides to ensure some balance during their odd ritual. meanwhile, noob, a citizen who lived in this area of robloxia, was sat on the beach a bit further off from the guest, watching them in silence. they didn’t make any move to approach the guest in order to not disturb their odd little ritual, & the guest took no notice of noob. the guest continued performing their little ritual, her hands wavering in the air every time one of his steps faltered slightly, & as they turned back around on the sand to go for another length on their imaginary tightrope, they suddenly stumbled forwards, having tripped over their own foot, & landed with a thud on their side in the shallow water of the sealine. yet, as luck would have it, as the guest suddenly tripped over their own foot & landed sideways in the water, the noob's attention was piqued.
they were originally planning to stay silent, in order to not disturb the guest's little ritual of walking on a tightrope upon the sand. well, now they scrapped that plan, as upon seeing the guest fall into the water, the noob found themselves glancing left & right before getting up off of the sand they were sat upon & walking over to the guest.
noob dropped down to their knees beside her, even if their trousers got soaked through with saltwater as a result of this. they helped guest up by the armpits, heaving him up until he was standing up as well, in front of noob. a smile graced noob's features as they helped the guest stand back up, patting the guest's shoulder in a friendly manner as she began standing.
"hey man, you alright? what's your name?"
