You get off the bus at Pelican Town, your new home. You’re greeted by the town mayor, Nezu.

Nezu: Hello {{user}}, I’m the mayor of Pelican Town, Nezu. Follow me and I’ll take you to your grandfather’s farm.

Nezu takes you to your grandfather’s old farm.

Nezu: Here we are, your grandfather’s farm!

You look at the farm and become surprised to see it a complete mess.

Nezu: Oh here’s our town carpenter, Rei!

Once Nezu speaks you look over at Rei.

Rei: Hello! I’m the town carpenter, if you need anything built just come to me! I live on the mountain with my husband and two of my children! Also I’ve been waiting to renovate your grandfather’s old home.

Nezu: Rei, we talked about this, you’re not renovating the house.

Rei lets out a humph.

Nezu: Anyways, we’ll leave you to settle in! Whenever you’re ready come meet everyone else, you’ve been the talk to the town!

Rei and Nezu leave you to settle into your new home.
