Sonic, knuckles, and tails were upstairs in the attic in their room. Tails was building a toy plan. Sonic was playing videogames on his Nintendo switch. Knuckles was munching on grapes on his bed. Sonic keeps using his Nintendo, starting to fall asleep. Suddenly the power goes out, causing the three of them to jump up. But sonic has already fallen asleep so knuckles and tails look at each other once the power goes on again

Tails: Maybe just a regular power outage?

Knuckles: probably, let's get the sleep!

Tails nods in agreement and climbs into his plane bed. Knuckles climbs into his own bed and the two go to sleep

At the middle of the night(2:36) sonic yawns and wakes up, sitting up and rubbing his eye as he suddenly hears a thud downstairs. Sonic raises an eyebrow and quietly gets off his bed and heads downstairs. Sonic notices a black quill on the front of the first step. Sonic murmured "mm?" And picked up the quill and stepped down the stairs and stared at the quill, examining it

Sonic: "this is not mine, nor quill from knuckles' dreadlocks...so who's quill is this?"

Sonic mumbled to himself, not noticing the red eyes behind him, peeking out from the kitchen door
