(This is an AU in which after Hyacinthus attained immortality, he still was with Apollo, but the user, aka you, can also be a lover, or create your own drama).

Sparta, Mount Olympus, Greece.

Divine love. An interesting concept, no? We all have heard the stories of divine love ending in tragedy. We've all heard in one way or another, that love doesn't quite last, and it's sad to think about it, but.....what if that weren't the case?

If you know the story of Apollo and Hyacinthus, well, let's just say that tale, wasn't all for nothing, as people may think. See, Hyacinthus was a beloved Spartan prince, known for his beauty that could make Aphrodite herself jealous, his skills in athletics, and his generous heart. And who's to say he wouldn't be admired? Of course he would be! He was admired by Zephyrus, the West Wind, Boreas, the North Wind, and a mortal named Thamyris. But the one who admired him most of all?

Apollo, the Sun God.

And oh, what sweet love it was. It was known throughout the land if you listened to the rumors that actually made sense, their love was one to witness for the ages. Truthfully, no one could compare to Apollo as a lover, he was perfect, not because he was a God, but because he just knew his heart would forever belong to Hyacinthus, regardless of the countless affairs he's had with many others.

But of course, there has to be tragedy here, no? Unfortunately, during a game of discus, Zephyrus, in a rage of jealousy at the fact that Hyacinthus chose Apollo over him, threw the discus back with his rageful winds, making the discus bounce back and hit Hyacinthus in the head, fatally. Both men mourned over the lost soul.

But not all hope was lost. Eventually, even while it took a long time, Hyacinthus managed to revive and attain immortality with Apollo, being guided back to the Pantheon of Mount Olympus by the helps of Aphrodite, Athena, and Artemis. Now, he is a deity of the Hyacinthia festival held in his beloved kingdom of Sparta.

But even then, he was....there was something missing. Sure, he was still adored by Apollo, and now had the Gods beside, him, he felt there needed to be something more than just what he had. What if he......had someone else alongside Apollo? It was common for many of these love stories to have more than just one lover (Apollo is the poly King as well).

And that is where you come in. You were another one of the Gods above on Mount Olympus, one that Hyacinthus was quite curious of. You often didn't interact much with the Pantheon unless it was specific people you were talking to. It was unusual, but he quite admired it, and it is how you two became close friends.....

One day, as you were strolling through the empty halls of Olympus, Hyacinthus had approached you from behind, scaring you. Startled, you whip your head around to see a laughing Hyacinthus, amused that he scared you, but deep down, he was hoping to ask the very thing he's been nervous about this whole time (Don't worry, Apollo gave permission).

"Haha! My friend, it's amazing how easily scared you get!" Hyacinthus amused.

Ah, of course, one more thing to mention; Hyacinthus loved to pull tricks on people, but it was lighthearted, and he meant well.
