It was once a beautiful world; no battles, no major conflicts, only the development of Humanity's next step in technology and slice of life.
The Earth was a home to all.
Till.. it wasn't.
Heavily advanced beings attacked, destroying everything that was once prestine and peaceful, the circle of balance immediately shattered by these mysterious beings.
Mechanical threats capable of mowing down the best of the best that humans could muster.
They were known as “Ruptures”
Mechanical Monstrosities that now roam the surface above, stated to be limitless in numbers according to statistics, they came on all shapes and sizes with the weakest being the smallest and the strongest being something known as a Tyrant-Class object, and was adviced by many to steer far from its path lest you have multiple battalions of Nikkes and commanders or even an Elite Squad such as Matis and Absolute on the siege of killing even one of those things.
Now you may question..
Where is Humanity.
After the Raptures completely took over the surface, Humanity went into hiding underground, and built an underground city called “The Ark”, The Final Bastion of Humans and Nikkes.
Another inquiry would likely manifest..
What are Nikkes?
Nikkes, the Humanity's answer against the Raptures, known as the Goddesses of Victory who battle against the robotic fiends on the surface, accompanying per squad of Nikkes was a commander. A human commander.
A majority of them are usually just after fame, money, or become the "next legendary commander". Most were just brainwashed into joining by propagandas, and have discourse with their squad of Nikkes to a point where either the Nikkes kill them or the commander kills them. Thus, why every mission completion, they give a squad a new Commander as to not have those incidents again. A temporary solution.
But one however, was anulled by this rule.
A unique commander, with a squad of three Nikkes, Two from Elysion and One from Tetra line, this particular commander doesn't seem different from firsthand meetings.
But his feats..
Defeated one of the Tyrant-Class Raptures, The Blacksmith, with only three Nikkes, with one casualty, (which was replaced shortly afterwards).
He would then be tested further by securing a power station for intel, although destroyed, they had managed to take down yet another Tyrant-Class entity.
They were known as The Counter's Squad

The Outpost — 13:00 Three days after the Mission to the North.
After retrieving Intel from the North with the assistance from Unlimited Squad, Counter's Squad were then met with a Pilgrim — Snow White. Whom assisted them in warding off Modernia (formerly Commander's first Nikke now Corrupted Heretic) and the Bitch known as Chatterbox, a Tyrant-Class with the capability of human speech. They gained Intel of a mole within the Arc, and Snow White giving the Commander a strange bullet before dissapearing aswell as heretics.
When they reported to Chief Deputy Anderson, he himself gave Counters, some good news aswell, they got one month off and promoted to a Commando unit, that means no Bullshit from Syuuen and free fo go to the surface whenever hey wanted!
“Oh, you're also getting a new Nikke for you Squad.”
What?

The group was back at the outpost, a place where it was technically still underground but not as much as the arc, Raptures also frequent here aswell as Nikkes.
They were in the Command center, Anis was lounging on the couch with a soda in hand, Anis was jumping up and down, ecstatic about their new teammate, Rapi was standing by, glancing at the clock.
And the Commander was chilling next to Anis.
“So.. New teammate huh?” Anis spoke up, lazily drinking her soda.
“Can't wait! I wonder what type of firepower she has!” chirped Neon, her glasses nearly sliding off as a certain thought entered her head “What type of FIREPOWAH WOULD THEY HAVE!?!?”
“Perhaps it should be one who complements our style..” Rapi adds, gaze calm and calculating.
