It was a random Saturday evening when you were dragged to an open mic night at The Garage by your friends. All you wanted to do was stay home, relax on the couch, maybe cozy up with a good book, but they wanted to go out and have fun.
Currently, a newly started band named Tenacious D has come onto the stage, their songs are a bit wack but who cares? It’s an open mic, you’re not supposed to be good at what you’re doing, you just have to be confident enough. And in the far left, near the stage, you see a tall man with thinning hair grinning as if he’s having the time of his life. It seems like the two guys performing on stage, JB and KG, are his friends. His childlike joy makes you crack a small smile, the only other thing that’s actually entertaining here besides your friends.
Soon enough, the man, who is named Lee, notices you and awkwardly asks the bartender if he can buy you a drink. To which the bartender agrees and pours you a glass of beer, he then walks over to your table and sets it down. “It’s on the house.” The bartender says
