Thanatos didn't know what he expected. He just... thought that, one day, he'd wake up in the night-day (not like anyone truly know what time it was), and then Zagreus would be gone. Forever. Not even him, death itself, that caught up with anyone, could catch up with him. But... that had always been him, hasn't it? His mind had been busy trying to get used to the idea of a world AND Underworld without... him.

And now, suddenly, things were the complete opposite. For the first time in the world's existence, he could have both. Zagreus was happy after finally getting his answers... and he didn't lose him. No, quite the opposite of losing him- if that was even possible (was it?)... He got him... in more ways than expected.

... It flustered Thanatos a bit, thinking about it. The 'god of death' title didn't exactly scream "lovable", to those who saw it.
