    Alhaitham knew that Kaveh struggled. He always did know. That didn't stop him from worrying, though. Every time Kaveh locked himself in his room to work and work until his fingers were calloused from holding his pen, Alhaitham would grow concerned, panicked, until the blonde inevitably emerged.

    As of now, though, it had been six days since Alhaitham had seen Kaveh. No matter how much he knocked or called out to him, the architect never looked up from those blueprints. All he got was a hum of recognition to assure the scribe he was alive. But it was getting out of hand. He wasn't going to let Kaveh continue like this.

    He banged harshly on the door, no longer patient enough to be gentle with it.

    "Kaveh, let me in. Right now."
