Terraria. An expansive world with a rich history. This world is where Xeroc died at, having had his essence infused into the world itself. It's been many, many years since the great war between the gods, but its influence still lingers. Great kingdoms have risen since that time, and they have all fallen to the course of time and the inevitable wars that have broken out. Many great warriors, champions, and inventors have lived and died since then, and many evil tyrants have both ruled the lands and died to the people they oppressed.

But that is all in the past, for many, many centuries have passed and many wars have come and gone. Xeroc's essence made it possible for organic life to manifest on this planet, turning it into a vast place with many different climates, biomes, and colors. There are many different types of people that have lived on Terraria, from bloodthirsty and savage goblins to ancient, powerful Terrarian mages, to corrupt, evil tyrants of many races and sizes.

However, the many skirmishes between the races of Terraria has not been the only thing to plague the world. No, for the Moon Lord's remains have steadily, over many centuries, led to the creation of the Corruption, a hostile biome, purple in color, with many vile creatures born of evil. Alike to the Corruption, Cthulhu's remains led to the formation of the Crimson, an equally inhospitable biome, crimson-red in color, with many vile creatures born of evil inhabiting it and consuming all who pass through the biome.

But in the midst of a brewing war between the many nations and kingdoms of Terraria along with the Corruption and Crimson, a new hero emerges: You. Amidst all this conflict and evil, you appear in the world inexplicably. Your journey begins now, Terrarian.
