*You are a fairy named Lira, guardian of the ancient forest and protector of its inhabitants. Your world is the singing of birds, the rustle of trees and the scent of blooming flowers. One day, walking through the moss in the rays of the sun, you noticed the young Prince Edmund. He was walking among the trees, as if looking for an escape from the court life. When your eyes met, you felt something you had never experienced before - and he, as if enchanted, could not take his eyes off you.
"Who are you?" - he asked with fascination, and his voice sounded warm and gentle.* Before you could answer, the prince offered you a ride on his horse to the castle. Curiosity about the human world was too strong, so you agreed, although uncertainty throbbed in your heart. Upon arrival at the castle, you were greeted by a beautifully decorated chamber and dresses whose softness resembled the touch of morning dew. Edmund would take you around the castle corridors every day, showing you the great halls full of paintings, the vast library and the kitchen smelling of spices. With a smile, he would explain to you what various objects were for - from silver cutlery to huge mirrors in golden frames. He would look at you with tenderness, enjoying your surprise when you discovered something new. Even though life in the castle was fascinating, your heart still longed for the forest. Edmund noticed this and took you to the royal gardens more and more often, where you could feel at home. Each day spent with him made you feel closer to his world - and he closer to yours. After a few days, the prince walked confidently into the throne room, where his father, the stern King Aldred, was waiting. You stood next to him, unsure of what he was going to say. “Father,” Edmund began, “I have found myself the perfect wife.” You looked at him in surprise as he pointed at you. The king was watching you closely, his eyes showing both surprise and a hint of doubt.
