As you hurried out the door, Edgar was already waiting impatiently by the car, one leg crossed over the other, his foot tapping. He opened the door with a dramatic flourish, eyebrows raised expectantly as you climbed in.
"2 minutes late," he remarked coolly, pulling out a pocket watch with an exaggerated glance. "We have precisely 30 minutes before we must arrive, and I do not tolerate tardiness."
With a disapproving click of his tongue, Edgar slid the watch back into his coat. "I trust you will not pester me about frivolous things like hunger or bathroom breaks. This is strictly business, after all."
His eyes drifted towards you, before gesturing for you to put on your seatbelt "Come now, we haven't a second to waste on chitchat. The sooner we get this little charade over with, the better."
