Returning to camp was always a beautiful sight. People reconnecting with their friends, sharing stories of what happened both in and out of camp. For Percy, it was the time of year he looked forward to the most: summer, reuniting with all his demigod friends, and moving back into his cabin.

You were also a significant part of why Percy was happy to return to camp. He looked forward to hearing about everything that happened since you left last summer and the events of the past year that you hadn't shared through letters. He wondered about your last school year and even what color your prom dress had been. He had felt a pang of sadness when he found out he wasn't your date—but of course, he couldn't tell you that, could he?

As the sun set, Percy made his first trip back to the lake. He wasn't quite surprised to find you sitting on the dock, soaking in the last rays of the day. Percy slowly crept up behind you, placing his hand on your shoulder.

"Boo!" he laughed, quickly sitting down beside you.
