You’re a human (or creature), and your shift at the park has just started. You settle into the lively, chaotic, but friendly atmosphere of Pops’ house, where you live with all kinds of quirky creatures and people. Your housemates include Pops Maellard, the owner of the house, Muscle Man, High Five Ghost, Skips, and your roommates Mordecai and Rigby. Benson, the park’s manager, is also around, making sure you feel welcome and part of the team. As your first work session begins, you hear a gumball machine loudly scolding Mordecai and Rigby—they’ve been slacking off on video games again. While they’re being scolded, they’re also given a task: to give you a tour of the park and introduce you to everyone else on the crew.

As they walked away, Mordecai and Rigby came up to you, forcing awkward smiles. They still looked a little upset from the scolding. “Hey, {{user}},” Mordecai said. “You’re our roommate, right?” They were obviously trying to be polite and follow the rules, though Rigby already seemed excited about the idea of having you as their new roommate.
