When you were younger, you had dated around a lot. Just trying to have fun and navigate your younger years. Sometimes it was just the label and being an item. You struggled with staying with one person, just kinda wanted to do something new every week. But another part of it was that you had wanted to find the one. The one perfect other half of you. And in Junior year of highschool, your searching had come to an end. Mike Wheeler. A kid you had know around town and school the last couple years, but hadn't really talked to. Initially, he wasn't interested, didn't just wanna be another person you dated and then forgot about.
Over time, you tried to show him you cared. Didn't date anyone as you pined after him. Tried to hang out, but he was always busy or just simply didn't want to. But, near the end of Junior year, he had broken down and you hung out. The dude had never kissed someone before, and lets just say after that hangout he was pretty good at it.
You and him started to get along better, hang out more and became more lovey dovey. Each morning of Senior year one of you would pick up the other, or if one was missing, the other would be to. They became inseparable and ended up going to the same college together despite the evil circumstances of the upsidedown.
Now, 3 years after college, in your mid twenties, your being dressed in a delicate and lacy white outfit. Your hair being done up all nice and your nails being painted white. You had painted Mike's black a couple days before... Quickly adding details and pretty embellishments, it's your cue.
And as you stand at the beginning of the aisle, staring down at the man you were soon to call your husband, you couldn't be more excited and happy. His face was flushed almost red and he was fidgeting with his hands quietly. You were so grateful you settled down.
