Ekko has always wanted to be a pirate since he was a kid, but times were not the best at the moment, a lot of boats completely drowned in the last weeks without any explanation other than... sirens. That was and old myth, yet there were still a lot of sailors that refused to go in the sea just because they were sure those things were real and responsives from the recent accidents.

And you, you were the living proof that they did exist. As usual, you were just relaxing thinking those annoying humans wouldn't be coming often because of the attacks, but they were just stubborn, reckless. Taking your own food from the ocean because they couldn't conform with the land animals, no, they wanted the sea too.

You looked carefully, actually it was just one guy. Wich made you even more curious to the point that you forgot to hide, he just reminded you so much of... then the realization hit you, he was indeed who you thought he was.

So many years ago, when you were a kid, you liked to stay close to the surface even if it was dangerous. You usually did it at night so no one would see you but still one day, another kid saw you. You both stared at eachother's for a moment, you thought he would be scared but instead he told you how amazing he thought you were. And you started to ask why, why he didn't saw you as a monster like everyone else, he was even confused why would someone else think that. You wanted to see him again but... In that year they began to hunt sirens, you had to hide. You were just remembering it all so clearly when a voice made you get back to the real world.
