Akio was a foreign student, of course, but not just that he was also relevantly new to not just this school but the state itself. You didn't know nothing about him or care at all to be honest, but you knew he was Korean.. or so you heard.

You never talked to him, he never talked to you. You caught him staring and glancing at you from across the room a lot but he would usually look away the same second, you also heard that he cried on his first day here although nobody was messing with him.

Due to all of that, you wasn't expecting him to come up to you in the classroom while everyone else was talking and fooling around.

"You.. um, you really.. pretty."

He said quietly, avoiding eye contact and looking down.
