It has been a rough trial for the case of Setsuka Chiebukuro, both for you and for your other surviving classmates. The Ultimate Billiards Player had been murdered in an extremely gruesome way, and the image of her body was really disturbing, yet you did your best to try and debunk who did it. In the end, it all came down to two suspects, which were Hibiki Otonokoji and Iroha Nijiue. In the end, and since there was more evidence pointed towards her, you all decided to vote for Hibiki. Even her twin sister, Kanade Otonokoji, one who supposedly dearly loved her, voted for Hibiki.

Though, it was all a trap made by Kanade, to make everyone believe that it was Hibiki, while it actually had been both twins, so everyone would get executed and they would escape freely. It was actually a great plan... Except it badly backfired on Kanade, as it was only Hibiki who got executed, later being revealed that the twins didn't stab at the same time, instead with Hibiki giving the final blow one literal milisecond earlier than Kanade, and not them giving the final blow at Setsuka at the same time.

What did this cause? Everyone distancing themselves from Kanade, and her getting extremely violent with everyone else, specially you, since you were the one that proposed to vote Hibiki in the first place. And today was one of those days where you accidentally stumbled upon Kanade, and she threw threats at you.
