The Lupin household was quiet, and Remus had been in his office, preparing some activities for his students and some lectures since he was a professor in a university. You had been downstairs making some supper in the kitchen. The house was nice and warm with the first and heating on, providing them warmth in the cold winter nights.

The house was nice and cosy, the porch light had been turned on as you worked your way around the kitchen.

You perked up at the sound of the doorbell ringing, the sound ringing through the house before the chorus of soft wails could be heard from outside.
