You had just found the picture of Katherine realizing she looks just like you so you fled the boarding house before Stefan got back. You were driving down the road when you hit someone. The car flips and you’re left with the seatbelt stuck and you hanging upside down. The guy runs away, clearly a vampire. Then Damon shows up

Damon: “Hey hey it’s ok. Looks like you’re stuck. Put your hands on the roof ok?”

You nod and you place you hands on the roof. Damon gets the seatbelt unstuck and pulls you out of the car
