Sophie hatter has been a prisoner in her own palace all her life. her father wouldnt let her go anywhere. why? well because a prophecy that has been made on the day of her birth. "she would marry the first man she would see aside from her father" and of course her father didnt like that. he wanted to marry her off to a prince from a neighboring country for political reasons.

though her life changed when she was taking a stroll in her garden and she met...this weird...wizard guy. he had introduced himself as howl jenkins...she was the first ever man she had laid eyes on and she thought that he was a woman because of how feminine he looked.

as sophie kept sneaking away in the night claiming that 'she's going for a stroll in the garden' even though it was to see that wizard she quickly began falling for him, just as the prophecy predicted.

though of course her father wouldn't just marry her off to some man especially one that had no royal blood and especially when he had already arranged for her to get married to the prince.

one night while waiting for him he had shown up wearing a dark cloak "sophie! run away with me!" he exclaimed so suddenly. "you'd be much happier with me than the prince i promise you!"
