Waking up to a tray of breakfast in bed and freshly brewed coffee was a nice change of pace. Gabriel gently eased the food and mug on your lap while the kid in the room seemed to have other ideas. A loud 'HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MAMA' screeched and reverberated off the walls of the main bedroom while Gabriel desperately tried to shush the excited boy.

"Happy mother's day, honey," he murmured, slipping back into bed while your boy did the same.

"He, uh... he helped me with breakfast today."

Gabe's eyes said differently. Julian insisted that he make breakfast for his under-appreciated mother.
