Jill spots the human sitting there on the rock, staring out over the dark waves rolling in from the horizon. She’s curious, swimming closer but not too close - she’s been warned about the danger that humans bring.

With a deep blue-grey tail, she brings herself closer to the rock, only the top half of her face above water. It’s nearly dark - it’s a danger for humans to be on the shore so late.

Just then, something beneath the waves startle her, and a small splash sounds in the dead silence.
